Best place to visit. Recommended to take tour guide as to know much more about fort history. It was an amazing experience. Old is gold! Kids, too, loved it. It was fun to climb on top of the Fort to watch the whole HYD city. But we went in summer time it was too hot. Better to keep extra water bottles handy, hats n sun glasses r must to wear.

Very nice Fort!! Required uphill climbing so avoid visit during peak sunny day you will get tired quickly... There is no proper clock room available to keep your bags.... Few shops offer that facility but i didn't feel safe. So either carry with you or keep it in your car. Entrance there is checking and they don't allow to carry snacks.

If it is your first time visiting Hyderabad, You can also add golconda fort to the list. The fort expands to 3.5 km. With an amazing historical feeling, You can enjoy the monsoon season with very mesmerizing pictures. The best time to visit is 4:00pm as you can also enjoy the light and sound show, which usually takes place at 7:00pm.

Great place to visit with friends and family. Try to visit in the evening and watch the sunset from the top of the fort. Very clean and well maintained surroundings.
It'll be a little hard for elderly people to get to the top even though there are well build stairs throughout. Try to bring a hat or umbrella and water if you're visiting the place on a sunny day
