It's a very good place for trekking with beautiful windmills situated at every small distance. The view from the top is awesome!!!!The difficulty of climbing is at a medium scale . Only care has to be taken while climbing the topmost part of the fort with the help of the chain... The chain is attached at the top....

Fort was used to keep a control on the surrounding region. Difficulty level-very difficult, due to the windmills installed on fort there is a proper way for vehicles but not up to the top, there is a rock patch of 10-15 mtr where one have to take help of rope. Half an hour is enough to see the fort. Overwhelming experience of rock climbing and rappelling..loved it..We can see Patta fort, Bitangad, Alang, Madan, Kulang, Kalsubai and the surrounding area from this fort.

Aundha fort is not at regular rout that's why it's rarely seen by people's. but it's very good trek with moderate difficult but less time consuming. You can say chota pack bada dhamaka. Stone carved steps r very good but British rulers intentionally damaged as like other forts. This fort can be seen along with Patta fort (vishramgad) and Aadfort
