The best display of Raja Ravi Varma and his family's art. Also the best place to enjoy the pre-independence non contemporary art of various other artists, both Indian and colonial British. All the crowd is at the zoo and hence the gallery is free most of the time. Entry is ₹20 and you can visit two other art galleries in the same zoo premise.

Good art collection of Raja ravi varma and few more legends. Staffs are helpful. Do not follow map location. Just get inside museum and you will be able to find the place near to zoo. Entry for adult Inr25/head.

Sri Chitra Art Museum is not very large but it is located in a scenic location right next to the zoo. It is famous for having many Raja Ravi Varma paintings and those of his relatives and mentor. Also has some mural paintings and other artists. Wish there was more written about the other artists and their history.

It's the jackpot for art lovers. It has collection of paintings of the famous Raja Ravi Verma and other artist. It also have some collection of kerala traditional paintings. You have to enter the trivandrum zoo main gate but not the inner zoo gate. You are not allowed to the water bottle but you are allowed to snap photos. It would be ideal place for people to look at history and source of inspiration. So why not take your art loving buddy there with you and snap photo with some of the great work of famous Indian Painter.
