Visited the Neyyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Felt like there are lot of opportunities for the concerned authorities to completely utilize this tourist space. But seems like they aren't using it properly. Sad to see such a beautiful place which remains unutilized and not well maintained.

A very beautiful trip during seasons as the route has a lot of greenery Safari option is available only till 5 pm(the lion safari is currently not available) And for trekking we have to book a day earlier contacting them. There is a KTDC restaurant as well with a medium pricing.A good picnic spot with childrens park,aquarium,and a good view. Ksrtc bus service is continuously available till 8pm

Monday- Closed This place is complete trekking type with a small landscape. With kids it’s quite interesting place, they will have a good experience and exploring elephants life . Plan early to travel as you can see bathing of elephants. Every elephants are maintained independently and separately. Deers are another spotting place with huge counts . Good picnic spot with family

India's first lion safari park. Now there is no lions. Good view of dam and a 30 minutes of walk. 10rs per head for entry.

There are no lions like the photos suggested. It’s where animals (all 5 of them) are kept in captivity, not sanctuary. The people don’t speak English or Hindi so are pretty useless. Price for foreigners is 500ind for 10 mins on a boat to the other island where crocodiles are kept in a tiny concrete bath and a life chicken is waiting to be eaten by a python. Just cruel.
