It is a tiffin centre where we get breakfast and lunch . The dishes they give are made up of MTR items as well as prepared with authentic MTR styles, I have ordered rava idli , rice idly , Vada and kesari bath which tasted good . I overall liked the restaurant with their own styled stuff of preparation, service, and the purity. If you ever be here near lalbag just visit this simple place to enjoy with your family, friends etc ..( not for non vegetarians ) it's a veg restaurant. Crowd is usual here you have to wait in the seating area in the special serving hall to have time .. in the ground floor you have to serve by yourself and rush is as usual.

Future price in age old restaurant.
50 rs for a coffee is too much for this hotel.
It was very crowded in the weekend morning. Waiting period was up to 1.5 hours. Vada and Dose were good. Khara bath was average. One time visit place.

Everything about this place is awesome. I love the old authentic ambiance here. The lunch/ meals are a must try! Other things that are iconic here are masala dosa / bisi bele bath etc. if your in Bangalore and love having veg food at a reasonable price this is the only place you need to head to.

Everything about this place is amazing. Feels so authentic and down to earth. Food quality is awesome. Dishes keep on coming and it's worth every penny paid. They only serve full meals in afternoon. Place is usually crowded but they have ample seating space. Since it's an old building you can't expect a fancy ambience but the vibe is pleasant. Place is neat, clean and service is quick.
