View from the top is scenic. The dam can be seen clearly. Too much windy. Cool wind blows and is a great place to spend the evening. Sunset can be enjoyed with family or friends here. Even good for picnic. Be aware locals drink here too and can be dangerous at dark. So leave before the sun sets.

Good place for a short trip. As it's not far from the city, you can even leave in the afternoon, enjoy the sunset and return well before dinner. View is very nice and place is decent too. But like in any other un-monitored place, people have thrown bottles, plastic, and food all over the place. Overall, carry a few snacks and a large mat, and you can have a good picnic.

Top view point is simply superb, and lastly don't expect more than that, public not allowed inside for sight seeing or boating, people can try fish fry on their own risk, because I doubt it belong to that lake?..For FB & insta profile photos, yes top view gives u, the best pictures.

A great place for a short get away from bangalore which is a mixture of nature and man made structure (dam). It is a picturesque location but do not expect too much. Weekday visit preferred as there will be no crowd. Weekends are usually crowded.

Nice place for the kids to enjoy in crystal clear water flowing from the dam. You may find small water snakes, so please be careful while playing in the water. Locals try to take advantage by asking for money, saying that it's their land. Don't pay them even a single penny. Roads are narrow but in good condition
