I was thinking how good its going to be in the beginning after reading about the place in the internet. But after visiting there last week, I felt totally refreshed. It will definitely be worthy if you love nature. Kabini river flows though the island and it's in the jungle you will have to walk in to reach the river flow. The rocks there are slippery, so take care while climbing. There are many forest guards posted nearby for the rescue. Enjoyed the day a lot and the visit here means you will be spending your whole day here so plan wisely on your schedules if you are running out of time. On the way from the Island, there is a tribal museum which is also worth visiting. Must strongly recommend this both places. The staffs are very friendly and they do their works efficiently. Claps for their hardwork????

a nice place to visit in wayanad. the ticket rate to enter the island is 94 rupees per person. parking fees are there. toilet, clock room available here. bamboo rafting is available for 1200 around rupees for 5 persons 45 minutes. you can enter the island and walk through the forest. it is around 1 km walk and you can bath in the river. it will be a good experience to bath in kabani river. good for kids and family.

Due to heavy rain fall, boating was not allowed.
But bamboo boating is the best thing to experience in kuruvadweep.
Try to avoid in July to August

We went with a hope of visiting this lovely island formed by kabini river.
The ride to this place was awesome ( we drove from tholpetty), through thick forests, lovely fresh coffee estates and beautiful houses decked up for th holiday season.
Nearest town is kartikulam,mananthavady.
Sadly now the ride to the island is shut down by the eco tourism department ,however you have bamboo rafting facility available here .all you have to do is just sit in the bamboo boat and scroll through it.
The water is deep and filled with crocodiles so they provide a life jacket. Duration of the ride is 15minutes.
It's worth it if your looking up for new experiences, it's open only till 4pm post which they shut down.
Nice place to chill and take photos.
There r plenty of hotels around the area .also they have a zip lining activity as well.

A pure natural place to visit. It has its own beauty in everywhere. Water flowing through the rocks so we can walk through the water and reach the next island. There are many islands are seperated by rivers.
Bamboo river rafting was also there but it is not that much adventures.
