I was fortunate to witness this one the most spectacular youth festivals in 7 Sisters. Wonderful experience. When: 15–19 February of every year. What to see: Number of activities, programs, exhibitions and stores showcasing the rich culture and heritage of Karbis and other tribes of North East. Most Spectacular: The Battle of Bands, the rock concert is the main center of attraction. Bands from all over India participate in the concert. How to reach: Diphu is well connected to Guwahati(4 hrs) and Dimapur(45 mins) by train/road. Where to Say: Numbers of hotels in Diphu, should book in advance.
