Dhanu Jatra or Dhanu Yatra is an annual drama-based open air theatrical performance celebrated in Bargarh, Odisha. Spread across a 8 km radius area around the Bargarh municipality, it is world's largest open air theater, one that finds a mention in the Guinness Book of World Records.

One of the world biggest Open pendal.where the act performance by many cultural Institute. All MLA, MP and administrative office attend the Raj Darbar of Kansa. Final conclude with Kansa Badha by Lord Sri Krishna. The entire Balyalila and all activities perform in open drama pendal.Very nice Minabajar and many entertainment equipment were participate for all people. In short very excellent event. Due to covid 2020-2022 it was postponed. Now on 2023 it was perform in Jan 1st.

World Famous Open Theater. The festival is based on the relationship between Kansa and Krishna (uncle and niece). During this 11-day festival, the entire Bargarh is divided into Mathura and Gokul and the Jeera River turns into the Yamuna River. The most interesting thing is that in this 11 days all high officials, such as CM or PM, are compelled to follow the rules and regulations of Raja Kansh because in these 11 days a monarchy, not a republic, operates in Bargarh. And in this festival Raja Kansh is projected as not only a demon but a good king, administrator, welfare king.?

Really wonderful, such a big fare with the show of royal kansa Darawar, many more attractive handloom houses from different states. Again the pallishree mela contribute it's beauty of nature with various flowers, hybrid well yield vegetables with many more farm products. Some tribal arts are very attractive. And in mina bazar one can find any type of Doli. Also taste all the types of street food of Odisha origin along with some foreign dishes with Indian twist. At night the main attraction is the stage program of Kansa Darawar. Here all the Characters looks original as in our Hindu scriptures. It's all about the Dhanu yatra, Baraghar of the yr 2020.
