First Science City of Bihar to be constructed by the Shapoorji Pallonji Construction Company and named after missile man and one of the greatest president Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. The construction still takes more than a year to complete but once completed, it will be huge and very attractive. Nearby roads are also being constructed for the area development.

Beauty of bihar ??? Located in a dense, low-lying area of Patna city, the project site terrain is conceptually reconfigured as a combination of high and low grounds; recalling traditional ways of inhabiting a monsoon landscape. The museum building is located on high grounds while a unique forested wetland park, with multiple water holding ‘kunds’, is arranged along the low ground. The park is developed along the themes of forest, water and agriculture and is a scientific exhibit in itself. It includes: a ‘constructed wetland’ that operates as a passive biotic wastewater treatment system, an ayurvedic medicinal plant section, and forested areas populated with indigenous grasses, shrubs and trees, arranged along wet-dry gradients. It also focuses on agricultural practices that draw attention not only to Bihar’s rich agrarian traditions, but also cutting edge modern farming. The museum building is located on high ground, with its western edge articulated as ‘fingers’ that interlock with the forested wetland park. Visitor movement through a series of hermetic exhibition halls, is interspersed with breakout vestibules that offer a release, with views out to nature.
