D.B took us on an amazing 3 hour walking tour of old Jaipur away from the usual tourist streets. We went down the back streets where the locals buy, sell and eat. We tasted the local street food and ice creams, a truly amazing experience. We saw the locals craftsmen making goods for sale from the front of their shops as well as visiting some local Haveli's. Overall it was an excellent tour and the time went very quickly with such a wide range of experiences. Just be prepared for the walking, the noise and the hustle and bustle of the local streets - you will not forget or regret going on this tour !

Virasat Experiences Helped Book an Unforgettably Beautiful Tour Through Rajasthan.
On rather short notice, we contacted Virasat Experiences in order to explore possibilities of tours in multiple cities in Rajasthan. Even with very little time given, Vipul Kumar Basam (Director) and Akshat Dutt Mathur (Manager Operations) went above and beyond our initial request for city tours and helped put together a 10 day tour package, including private driver.
The tour included:
1) 1.5 days in Agra: Red Forte and Sunrise Tour Taj Mahal (Fantastically knowledgeable guide: Al Hachi)
2) 2.5 days in Jaipur: Included an a) awe-inspiring walking tour with Anshu through markets and havelis, b) a highly-informative tour of the City Palace and Observatory with Niranjan, and c) a home-cooked dinner hosted by the managing director and his wife Sonal.
3) 2 days in Jodhpur: Included the a) blue city walking tour with the dashing Kuldeep, and b) a visit of the Jaswant Thada and the mind-bogglingly beautiful Meherangarh Forte with the verbose Praveen.
Every single tour that we got to enjoy with the vastly entertaining and diverse cast of guides was highly memorable, as Virasta Experiences focuses on the life in the streets and between the brick and mortar, and not just the rattling off of facts from google.
In addition, I would like to make a special recommendation for our driver Vishal, who brought us from point A) to point B) safely, reliably, and always on time.
To all, thank you for the fantastic and memorable experiences! I highly recommend them to all young-at-heart, culturally interested, and engaged visitors that want to learn more about the meaning of "Incredible India" in Rajasthan.

What a walking tour! Amazing sights, sounds, smells and tastes and our guide Madhav expertly navigated us through the streets and bazaars of Jaipur and we had the chance to see produce, textiles and craftsmen at work. We sampled sweets and savouries from reputable street traders and all the while learned the histories of such things from our affable guide
