A new Texan joint in South Kolkata. Loved the place ambience and decor wise, the behavior of the staff was top notch. Tried couple of their burgers, taste, quality wise they were damn good, huge and sinful with a huge patty in between. Would love to try their other items. Would recommend this place to other foodies.

Texan is basically an American and fusion Chinese cuisine. This is not just a café or bar, It also have a designated area for performance,band gigs. What's unique about Texan is that each table having a tablet menu, so you don't need any server to take away your order. We had, Welcome drinks Fresh lime soda Chilli Beef hot and chilli flavored Beef stir fried Country Fried beef with Egg crunchy and crispy fried beef accompanyied by munchies Wine Chilli Cheese Beef Burger a succulent beef Patty with cheese, And sesame bum making a full meal served with shredded salad or coleslaw and french fries.

Nice atmosphere. Great selection of dishes, some probably unique in Kolkata. The inspiration for some is American, even Texan food. But in Texas, the ambience in such restaurants are different, and obviously the portions. That works out to a much lower price level for the size. But we can't be choosers, yet.
