One of the very old and beautiful churches in India, the architecture of this church is very superb. If you are in Mysore simply don’t forget to visit this beautifully crafted church. You can go inside and get the blessings from the lord and from outside you can get some clicks as this church is very photogenic.

Very very beautiful, clean, holy, well maintained. Parking inside safe and comfortable free. No pictures allowed inside. Once you go there you can see the real size if the Church and beautifularchitecture. You don't need to remove your shoes. Underground alter is so quiet and peaceful. Thousands of niches of the past generations named there.

Beautiful Cathedral. I also got to go inside the catacombs. Visit it during 3-4 PM. You'll get a beautiful view. During night it also looks quite beautiful.

I liked the architecture and the overall cleanliness of the place. The stained glass architecture inside the cathedral is especially good. Unfortunately, photography inside the cathedral is forbidden. But then, it is a place of worship and permitting photography inside would not be a good idea. Photography inside temples is also forbidden for the same reason.
Please respect the sanctity of the cathedral and follow the rules.

St. Philomena's Cathedral is a unique piece of architecture and is a must visit when you are in Mysore. The design is very pretty, the area is spacious and perfect to click photos. The doors and windows are also very ornate.
Don't forget to go inside the chapel. It is very peaceful and calm inside. There is also a small place of prayer in the shape of a cave in the same complex.
