Srirangapattana known for its Ranganathaswamy temple in the form of Lord Vishnu. Anyone who visits this temple has to visit this Srirangapattana ghat on the banks of river Kaveri which is less than 1km away from the temple. Lot of tourists take a bath here as they believe that their sins gets washed away along with the flowing Kaveri water. Some other tourists offer prayers to their ancestors here. If you’re a tourist visiting in Non tourist season, you’ll find peace here. Avoid during monsoons as the water flow will be unpredictable.

Felt like time travelled and went to a place in 17th or 18th century. This place is another mood. You can see old gods idols immersed in kaveri and old architecture which once stood with greater values there. I'd definitely come back to this place and spend an evening there.
