One of the busiest railway station.The Sealdah–Ranaghat sector was electrified in 1963–64. The Ranaghat–Shantipur sector was electrified in 1963–64.The Kalinarayanpur-Krishnanagar City sector was electrified in 1964–65.The Ranaghat–Gede line was electrified in 1999–2000.The Ranaghat–Lalgola section has been electrified on the 2010s.

Ranaghat Railway Station is one of the main station of Sealdah line. It connect Krisnanagar ; Shantipur ; Gede and also Bongaon line. There are 6 stations.

Nice Station..... It is also painting stations and everything in the station area. If you go now to Ranaghat you will see the station is now so clean and good you go to the Subway side you see that is developing I just so good. Thank you......
