About 25 kms from Udaipur this historic place is situated where Great Warrior Maharana Pratap was crowned as a Mewar Ruler. He worshipped at this place of Lord Shiva in Mahadev Temple. The cave where he stayed in jungles is also easily accessible. Maharana Udai Singh's Samadhi is also situated in this popular village. Rajasthan Tourism have developed this heritage as Mewar Complex. It's a must visit place.

Place needs to have better maintenance.. Such a historic site and there were no other tourists besides the two of us. Took a leisurely stroll before getting back to Gogunda Palace.
