I have been to Polo forest a lot of times with family and friends. The place is excellent. It is very green and has some trekking spots too. I would recommend everyone to visit Polo forest who love nature. It is a great spot to visit on the weekends.

Amazingly relishing place for nature and adventure lovers. I explored this place with my friends by walking ourselves as we all loved walking. You will get multiple sites to visit inside Polo Forest which includes and not limited to Sharneshwar Mahadev mandir, ancient jain temples, Hirnav dam, a lake. You can go for trekking if you are adventure lover. You can hire local guys for the same. They will get you through the trekking route with some charges. You will come across some scenic points like echo point and selfie point. From the top, they have set watch towers. You can stand on top of it to enjoy amazing beauty of Polo Forest. One day can be very well spent here. Night hangout is not allowed here because this forest inhabits leopards and bears.
I came to know that you can bring private vehicle inside the forest police checkpost. This can be prevented by police in weekends or any public holidays when there is heavy rush of public.

1. Polo forest is located among the hills near Vijaynagar, north Gujarat. It is about 15 km from Vijayanagar as well as about 50 km away from Shamlaji temple.
2. If you want to stay inside the forest then Tents and resorts are expensive ranging from 4000 up to 8000 per night.
3. A cheaper option would be to stay in Milan Polo hotel in Vijayanagar, which is located about 15 km away from polo forest.
4. Sightseeing of mountain, river, Jain temple, etc is within 5 km range along the forest road. You can either walk or take rickshaw or e-rickshaw.
5. Direct bus from Ahmedabad to polo forest has started since January 2022 with ticket costing around 150 rupees. Departure from Ahmedabad is around 7:00 a.m. in the morning.
