Went there for lunch but Paul Hotel Management was using this restaurant to host a conference so this restaurant was closed. As Masala Dani, Vembanad and Murphy's Brewhouse has common kitchen so they made our arrangements in the Vembanad restaurant but served Masala Dani’s menu. I ordered Murgh Zaffrani Shorba, Macchi Rubbaya(Pomfret Tandoori wasn’t available), Kadai Paneer, Dal Makhani with Roti & Naans, and I should mention that portions of every dish was comparatively smaller. Murgh Zaffrani Shorba was warm and decent in taste but saffron was missing it, I couldn’t taste it at all. Macchi Rubbaya wasn’t warm enough, it was little raw with very subtle taste of mustard(but as per Indian palate not enough). Dal Makhani had good consistency but tangy in taste, this tangy taste spoiled this dish. But serving staff was very humble and they timely keep checking on us whether we need anything.
