महावीर स्वामी अभयारण्य , उत्तर प्रदेश के कई वन्यजीव अभयारण्यों में से एक है । यह झांसी से 125 किमी और ललितपुर से 33 किमी दूर है । [१] अभयारण्य ५.४ किमी २ के क्षेत्र में फैला हुआ है । झांसी बुंदेलखंड क्षेत्र के लिए एक अद्भुत प्रवेश द्वार प्रदान करता है और इसे प्रसिद्ध रानी लक्ष्मी बाई द्वारा प्रसिद्ध किया गया है । विभिन्न प्रकार के पक्षियों के अलावा, निवासियों में तेंदुआ, नीलगाय, जंगली सूअर, सांभर, काला हिरन, नीला बैल, भालू, सियार, लंगूर और बंदर शामिल हैं। यहां घूमने का सबसे अच्छा समय नवंबर से अप्रैल तक है। आवास की सुविधा प्रदान करने के लिए एक वन विश्राम गृह है।

It's very unknown and unexplored wildlife sanctuary.. This is located near Deogharh's Dashavatar temple of Gupta period (1500-1600 years old), however there is very less diversity of flora and few faunas like spotted dear, neel gai are found. it more Culturally and historically important place as there are Jainism , Buddhist and Hindutva ancient caves and historically important sites there is a ruins fort where you can see that a dilapidated fort's gate and walls deep inside this sanctuary near thea watching tower of this sanctuary where you can see the whole strech of Betwa river and bird eye view of this sanctuary. Worth visiting places...carry your own food and water bcs there is no amenities except near Dashavatar temple where you can only get water to drink( not bottled water).
