I stayed here in this Lilac hotel from April till June because of business travel and I really could call this place a 2nd home during this time. Very friendly and helpful staff. If I had any issues (for example I needed to book a doctors appointment once) they always had a solution. The kitchen has awesome food thanks to Chef Vinod (Indian and western cuisine) and comfortable rooms and bed. The rooms have a fridge, microwave and a water boiler and there is also a gym on the 2nd floor. The location is very nice, Jayanagar an area with lots of local shops, markets and street food. Also only about 5-10 min walk to the metro station. Thank you also for the birthday cake :)

Our first visit to the Lilac Hotel. It's a nice, well done up hotel with courteous , friendly staff. We stayed in the standard ( Executive) room. It's a nice size and has a work table, a dining table and a two burner gas range ( didn't understand that, probably for long stay guests , I guess ). The wardrobe has an iron and ironing board ( the hotel does offer a laundry service tho' ). A couple of things that could be better : the mattress quality is not the best. Curtains need to be 100% blackout for good sleep. Hygiene spray and flush : needs a higher , better output ( more pressure needed ). The food menu is good in terms of a limited, yet interesting offering with a sweet spot pricing ! Day 1 : murgh angara kabab was very good, the cauliflower and broccoli kabab in a mustard marination was also very nice! Veg Biryani very good again as was the pepper fry mutton. Prompt service in Room Service ! Day 2 : Dal Makhani was good. Veg kadhai was ok. Rotis ( methi and chilli ) were good. Chicken "dum" biryani was not a dum biryani and not quite up to the mark. Buffet breakfast disappoints a bit. Definitely needs bucking up ! Would probably return for another stay

Really nice hotel!!! Service is top! And the restaurant is also top: both traditional Indian and western food. Rooms are also perfect and amazingly clean :) the area is also extremely nice and the street is quiet.

We stayed in this hotel with family. It was a memorable experience. The rooms were clean and the staff were very courteous. Food and room service were of high standard. Tea, coffee and clean towels in the room were always there.
Good selection of breakfast and dinner was prepared to our needs. Special appreciation to Mr. Ali and the staff for taking care of us.
