Perfect place to visit in June to September period, i have been there for two days. Market is impressive and artistic things will catch your attention very soon. I have explored the market alot. Few things I have purchased as well. Food n weather is good try kurkez at Krishna bakery and cafe

One of the most popular places to visit in Shimla. Lakkar Bazar is home to numerous shops that are specialized in selling an array of antique works along with woollen garments, pashmina shawls, Himachali handicrafts and artificial jewellery. Although the roads are narrow and sometimes, over-crowded with tourists, there is something magical about the street. The beautifully crafted walking sticks are quite famous here and you can also browse through the key chains, spoons, pots, candle stands and other stuff. Do not forget to experience their traditional culture via their food; there are several eateries to satisfy your hunger pangs with lip-smacking momos and delicious chaat. The market also features an ice skating rink and an old cinema hall for your enjoyment. Tourists can also enjoy their accommodation in the nearby hotel to make the most of their visit. #VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE in Lakkar Bazar.

Lakkar Bazaar is a small and beautiful market in Shimla. Wooden items are available here like locket, wooden art, key rings etc. There is also an indoor rolling skating club. This area is very cold in winters.

Lakkar market is at the end of mall road in shimla. One can find small items made of wood, wooden toys and show pieces at a very reasonable price. But they don't bargain.
