Good place to learn about Karilala Cholan (a Tamil Emperor of the early Chola dynasty) and his legacy. Very informative boards with colorful drawings and captions. But all info is only in Tamil. Can be in English too for better reach. Ample free parking available.

While the statue of Karikala has been done well with the memorial, it would have been great if the stories are translated to English. The memorial has a list of paintings and stories mentioned in Tamil.
