This is a testament to the work INTACH does with restoring heritage building across India. You can see the dedication to their craft. The staff is friendly and give you lots of information. They also organise heritage walks in Pondicherry, and it's definitely an offbeat thing to check out, especially if architecture and design is something you're into.

Lovely place with amazing architecture and design. The people and their team had worked to conserve and renovate the old building and heritage of Pondicherry. Old Tamil and French houses have been sustained and preserved with the help of INTACH and their team of architects. They have also documented it for the public to read and know about various details.
