The trek point is a small hill near the lake. There is a beaten track which leads you to the top of the hill. It's a small trek so one can reach the top in about 20 to 30 minutes. It's slippery while descending but it's safe. There is very strong breeze on the top of this point and it's absolutely refreshing. You can see 2 lakes from the top of the hill and get a birds eye view of the nearby area. If you prefer a longer trek, then you can walk parallel to the lake and move towards the circumference of the lake which itself takes about 1 hour. This place is approximately 1.5 kms from karjat railway station and if driving down then you can take left at mahindra factory on mumbai Nashik highway.
