The person Abir Chakraborty attended us, tried to sell a lot of products. We just went there to complete KYC for one of the savings account. He said that address verification is needed and he need to visit our house. Aadhar and PAN won't be enough. We read everything on the ICICI portal for account opening. We did it online and just need to complete our KYC at the branch. Nowhere it is mentioned that bank executive will visit your place for verification. We couldn't agree with HIS choice of products and hence had to cancel our account opening process. He was not ready to process our KYC and was giving us strange formalities to complete. We once had a thought of submitting KYC form anyway but after reading other reviews about him here on Google, we changed our minds. Who knows if person like him will ever let the KYC to get processed. People like him is making ICICI loose it's customers.
I was going through other reviews here and found that I am not the only person who had awful experience with Abir.
I am holding ICICI Bank credit card for few years now and is extremely happy with the customer support I got online so far. But the experience at Chandannagar branch with Abir made me feel sorry for ICICI that how he is making the bank loose it's face.
