The view from hype is surreal. Staff is so well mannered and the drinks are really good. There was a prawn South Indian dish. It won my heart. It was so tasty and fresh. The ambience is also insane. Perfect for a couple date.
The veg menu could be improved with more additions. Had very limited options.

We had a lovely time at Hype. The 19th story rooftop situated at Shangri-La Hotel gives you a nice view of the Bangalore city.
The vibe here was amazing and their unique cocktails are worth a try.
The only reason for 4 stars is their limited vegetarian menu.

The nibbles (mostly ordered non-veg) were very tasty, and the sizzling brownie was absolutely mean. We ordered one more! :)

- The place is really cool and classy. ??
- Ambience is superb and of weather ☁️ ?️ is nice than it will hits you at another level. ?️?️
- The staff is really good and attentive.
- Drinks and food is quite decent but you can ignore that in front of the view which you gonna have there.
- It is spacious and comfortable.
You can definitely go there with your friends and family to spend quality time there. ???
Must visit place in Bangalore to feel the luxury and the mesmerizing view. ?

It’s not the worst fine dining experience I’ve been to, but among the bottom three.
We couldn’t get any service after bottled water for the first 30 minutes because the staff was catering to a corporate event.
We’d opted for a different cuisine and got served an alternate one. This could have been so easily avoided if any of the staff could have taken a minute to tell us what food they were going to bring to the table. It’s not an unreasonable request, given every fine dining restaurant explains their menu proudly to its patrons.
The ambience was great – flowers and lights inside the dome made for a very pretty environment. It’s a shame that the dome is fully enclosed, because there was a beautiful breeze on the 19th floor that we couldn’t enjoy.
One saving grace was the staff offering to replace our main course to one that we would like, but we’d gotten so frustrated by then that it didn’t make an impact.
Huge fan of Shangri-La. Huge fan of the concept. Terrible experience actually visiting. Wouldn’t recommend when there are comparable 5-star options within a kilometre to Shangri-La.
Perhaps you can check with the staff if there are corporate bookings on the night you visit before choosing to visit.
