One of the Heritage places in mysore. Sandal oil extracted here is used in making soap at Sandal Soap Factory in Bangalore. The premises has lots of sandalwood trees maintained by the factory. Overall good place to visit.

It's a historical place..though there is very less to see still it's a nice place..its a part of mysore heritage.. Guide explains everything in details..there is ample scope for developing this vast area..there are many sandal wood trees in the premises.. they have their outlet near factory which sells all items of Mysore sandal soap factory..

Sandalwood oil factory at Mysore. Can visit with permission from factory authorities. Parking available on outside. Entry is restricted. The factory guides helps you during the visit. Here you can spend 15 - 20 minutes.
