Gaya airport is well maintained
Follows corona guidelines .
Safety measures are taken in view of the pandemic .
All the employees wear a mask and hand sanitizing stations are available after every 100 -200m
The airport is not very crowded

Beautiful, the entire interior gives you Indian tradition vibes. The huge Buddha statue at the airport gets you an ear to ear smile with feelings of inner peace.

Gaya airport has direct flights to numerous cities of India including New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Ranchi, Guwahati, Chennai. Direct international flight to Kathmandu is also available.

This is an International Airport located at Gaya . The airport has one indigo flight from Delhi . The airport is clean . This airport is managed by Airports authority of India.It was a pleasant surprise to be greeted by the CISF officers by a flag , a selfie in the selfie frame on occasion of azaadi ka amrit mahotsav.
A huge and beautiful statue of Lord Buddha is at the arrival lounge . Once you are out another statue is situated in the outside lawn adjacent to parking area. No prepaid cabs are available. Taxi drivers charge exorbitantly . Lot of bargain has to be done. The airport serves an important milestone for the state of Bihar , lot of tourists from India and abroad visit here . The place is known for pind dan related activities lot of visitor come and this airport is a great relief for them.
