Gariahat Market is one of the eldest, authentic, famous markets in south Kolkata. This is a huge market. The market is very ner of Ballygunje Rail station. If you come here via train then Ballygunje is your nearest station. Whatever you need, everything is available here. You can get various types of dresses, shoes, jewellery, kitchen item, decore items everything. You need to bargain everything here, then you'll get everything in a good deal. The market is basically a road site market. But side by side of roadside shops there is so many brands showrooms like Pantaloon, jockey, khadims, Benetton etc... Side by side of shopping there are amazing foods. There have some amazing street food shops in a very cheap and reasonable price. Also, there are good restaurants. In a simple word one place for everything.

One stop mall for your household needs. Good collection at reasonable price, not very trendy though. There are repairers for all kitchen gadgets also.
