One can see Elephants at foot step. So much giant elephants busy eating & waving around. Best place to walk around and see around 30 + Elephants individually tied up & left to there job. Visited second time and really felt blessed. Sad to see many are tied up & not left to roam freely. Rest all good. Visit on weekdays as it not crowded & can see elephant left to do more jobs. It's more good if any guide is available to describe on their natural daily life .

A nice place for elephants. People here take good care of elephants. There are some elephants here which are donated to Shree Guruvayur devasthan. People who donate the elephant also need to give more than 5 lac for taking care of the elephant. They have tried to keep it very natural for elephants there. However the elephants are always always tied with chains to keep them in control.

It comes under Guruvayur Devasam, a quite peaceful place to spend the afternoon after visiting the Guruvayur Temple. There's almost 35+ elephants in there. Entry charge is ₹20 for adults and ₹10 for kids under 10 years.

Very nice to see the elephants being taken good care of. Each has its own spot. Vast area. Traditional style buildings can be seen inside the premises. Security is present. Some work is going on inside but that is no deterrent in viewing the animals. Not to be missed place.
