It's a relatively new place and is actually quite good. The rooftop is best spot with a nice gentle breeze smearing your face. This place has 2+2 on drinks on Zomato gold. Food is pretty average, drinks are good. Would recommend this place if you are in MG road.

Mangalore food at it's best . This place in brigade road gives you the most amazing mangalorean food straight from the coasts of Karnataka. From their neer dosa to kori roti and their brilliant ghee roast and fish kebab , which is a must try . Their beautiful cocktails and mocktails go so well with the cuisine. Comfort food + beautiful ambience + affordable prices . What more do you want? And by beautiful ambience I mean the place has a rooftop seating which is gold. It's got this amazing view with decked up interiors and it's all kinds of pretty ❤️ The service was good and the staff was super friendly. The prices are super pocket friendly too . So without digging your wallet you can eat your heart out at this cute little place in bridge road. Loved the food , ambience , service and the affordable prices .

Co.ba.ja- a restaurant which serves delightful Karnataka cuisine in Brigade Road, certainly took my tastebuds on a flavourful journey during my visit! The restaurant is situated in 1st and 2nd floor of the building. The 2nd floor is an open air seating whereas the 1st floor has indoor seating arrangement with chairs and cushions. Both the floors are quite different from each other. Each of them have a unique ambience. Secondly, the food that we tried was very tasty. We could literally fill a whole array of flavours in every dish that we had ordered. As we went during the Savji & Malnad Food festival, we mostly tried the dishes from the specially curated menu. Not only the food was amazing, but also the cocktails were mind blowing. The dishes and drinks that I personally loved and I would definitely like others to try are as follows: Beverages: Litchi Curry Martini Paan Mojito Saffron Punch Starters: Prawns Ghee Roast Mutton Pepper Fry Chicken Ghee Roast Fish Tawa Fry Main Course: Hubli Chicken Palav Mutton Roso Lastly, the service was great. Don't have any complaints at all. Very humble waiters who know how to ace their job! People who want a taste of Karnataka cuisine along with some amazing fusion cocktails should SURELY TRY this place!

Cobaja is a great idea if you wish to try lipsmacking South Indian, Konkan, Mangalorean food. Located in the popular locality of Brigade Road this place is bang on the main road and very easy to locate. Recently visited the place for a Sunday lunch where they had the Savji and Malnad festival going on. It's on for the whole Month of August so anyone wishes to try some ethnic flavours from the western and southern pockets of India you know where to be. Cobaja has 2 storeys dedicated to itself where the first floor is for indoor dining specifically and a roof top area for brunching on a good weather day. Don't miss out on the fab wall art from the entrance all they way to the roof top. Shows the kind of work that has gone in making the place so good. We took a roof top table. The place has been decorated keeping in mind of its native theme. Thus it gives a very homely and earthy vibe. There's a traditional music played in the background which simply adds to the beauty of the place. Coming to the food, we tried a range of dishes but I will mention the dishes that I loved the most and would recommend all of you to try: •Shimoga Paddu- it was delicious! A burst of beautiful flavours in your mouth when tried with the tangy chutney it is served with. •Usli Platter- this is for all the health freaks out there! It's a salad platter comprising of green grams, chickpeas, cucumber and lentils. This is healthy yes but take it from me it doesn't compromise on the taste. Very tasty! •Fish Fry: My most favourite dish apart from the ghee roast. The masala used was so tangy, flavourful that we had to take multiple servings of the dish to satisfy our taste buds. Highly recommended. •Neer Dosa: Very finely made dosa which almost melts in your mouth. A great accompaniment with almost any gravy dish. • Mutton Ghee Roast/Prawn Ghee Roast: I can write an entire review on these dishes specifically but let's just say you cannot go to cobaja and not try these two dishes. So well made, flavourful, just the correct amount of spicy and just so delicious! • Chicken Pulao: A very different kind of pulao from what I have usually tried.. in a good way. The chicken pieces succulent and well cooked and it went brilliantly with the mildly flavoured rice. • Keema Balls: also called Kaiman undo is basically meat minched, made into balls and then deep fried. So so good! I absolutely loved the whole experience of dining there. If you like having a drink with your meal then you can try their cocktails. They are served in these cute quarter bottles and is great taste wise. I tried the tequila sunrise and it was smooth. The service could be better I feel as we had to wait for a while before we could get our hands on the next course but as it was a Sunday and the place was quite crowded it's understandable. Loved the place and would recommend it to everyone! :)

I visited Cobaja to have lunch with my family. It's a lovely place to be in the heart of the city. I loved their food and the menu is exhaustive. It had so much to offer in regional cuisines. They served Savji and Malnad cuisines. The food had the authenticity one would expect from a restaurant that serves regional cuisine. The ambience is superb on the rooftop. I enjoyed all the dishes I had at this restaurant. For starters, I had their Mushroom Ghee roast and it was delectable. Yelekosu Vada wad also good in taste. For soups, I tried their Appe Ka Saaru and it was mind-blowing. A very good option for Vegetarians. It was made with raw Mango. I also had a variety of local salads, called Kosambari. It was a part of the Karnataka Usli Platter which I had ordered. The salads were good. For main course, I had Potato Ghassi with Coconut Rice and Neer Dosa. Potato Ghassi was basically a potato curry. It was delicious. Coconut rice and Neer Dosa were also delicious. For desserts, I had Gasagase Payasa and Ka Holige. Both the desserts were quite good. One thing other than good food was their ambience. I loved their decoration with plants on the rooftop. Their service is also decent. Staff was polite and attentive.
