statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj has been erected at Kranti Chowk and it was inaugurated today. At a total height of 52 feet, this is the first statue of Lord Shiva in the country. Famous Pune sculptor Deepak Dhopate has made this seven tonne statue out of bronze metal. Shiva Srishti, which tells the history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, is also being realized in the premises of this statue. Architect Dheeraj Deshmukh has also beautified the square around the statue of Lord Shiva. This structure has been inspired by Pratapgad fort.

Currently the tallest statue of CHHATRAPATI SHIVAJI MAHARAJ in whole India . The pride , heart , God of Marathi people Chhatrapati shivaji maharaj . If u ever visit aurangabad , remember to pay a visit to this historical place . By seeing this statue , I feel immensely proud that to be born in Maharashtra .
