Babu from VWI provided us with a lot of information about these elephants. The program is a 30 minute drive from the main center of Jaipur, where one meets the elephants.There were 4 elephants present during our visit of 4 hours although there are apparently 8 Elephants owned by them. We had the pleasure to meet Rupa, Champa, Gulab & Rani. All were very gentle and really warmed up to us after the feeding activity (apparently bananas are to elephants what chocolates are to humans). The other activities proposed were massage, washing and walking the elephants. The elephants seem to be well taken care of, are fed frequently and seem to be in good health (medical checkups are held every 8 weeks ) The care takers are very friendly and seem to have a good relationship with the Elephants. Definitely recommended!

It was such a wonderful time with the Elephants in Jaipur. Me and my husband enjoyed the activity. The elephants are taking care well by all these wonderful people. Higly recommend other to join the activity in Jaipur.

This was a super nice experience. They were very helpful and worked with our schedule. We got to wash, feed, paint on and ride an elephant. We had a wonderful experience. It was nice to see the elephant freed during our ride. I felt bad that it was chained in its house during our encounter. They do treat them well and show lots of love to them. I just wish all animals were roaming free. This was a very nice time worth the trip.

The experience was mesmerising, VWI is a place where you can have close personal contact with lovely creatures. The team there was very friendly and informative. We had a wonderful experience and i would love to come again and again .
