This is the best hospital in India after AIIMS Delhi. Their doctors are the best doctors as well. But one thing I want to share that this is the old CMC campus, new CMC is still 10 km away from it. But good thing is that CMC has internal shuttles which travel old and new campus continuously.

This is a hospital of some good doctors, but the Hospital management and cleanliness and hygiene was not found. Everywhere was found long que, most of the case no sitting arrangement. Cost of service is like bangladesh. Long way to vellore from chennai. Security personnel were found very well knowledge and well behave

One of the best hospital in India subcontinent. The staffs, doctors and nurses are polite and helpful. The rules are strict. They do not accept any bribe. There are many middle man around the hospital who offer early appointment. Don't trust those person. A huge amount of patients are taking treatment from here. So, you should come here with online appointment which will help you to get early treatment.

Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, India is one of the leading quaternary care medical institutions in Asia, one of the largest hospitals in India and one of the best medical schools in India offering an extensive range of undergraduate, postgraduate and higher speciality courses in medicine, nursing, allied health sciences and related disciplines. CMC, Vellore offers a huge range of different medical specialities, with quaternary care advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services, alongside primary and secondary level care for local communities. Over a century, at least 300 million people in India have been touched, directly or indirectly, by CMC’s rays of healing. CMC's total staff strength of 10,181 of whom 1,914 are doctors, 3206 are nurses and teaching staff (non-medical) and technical staff number 2146. At CMC Vellore, patient services are about availability, accessibility and affordability. CMC is particularly well known for certain departments such as Neurosciences, Gasteroenterology and Haematology (where it is a national leader in the treatment of rare blood disorders and bone marrow transplantation). However it also gives high importance to less prominent specialities such as Rheumatology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Developmental Paediatrics and Palliative Care. Ophthalmology and Psychiatry departments are located on different campuses, as is the Rehabilitation Institute. CMC Vellore is engaged in cutting edge research into the causes and treatment of diseases, and collaborates with hospitals and universities throughout the world. It is one of the leading contributors of medical research articles in India. There are numerous research programmes funded by national and international agencies as well as through internal resources. It is the home of Cochrane South Asia, the South Asian centre of The Cochrane Collaboration, hosted by the Prof. Bhooshanam V. Moses Centre for Research and Training in Evidence-Informed Healthcare and Health Policy; the Wellcome Trust Research Laboratory and the Infectious Diseases Training and Research Centre. It also boasts a state-of-the-art Centre for Stem Cell Research, funded as a centre of excellence by the Indian government. CMC hosts many conferences and workshops and runs regular courses in research methodology, epidemiology, biostatistics and several other topics. Several CMC departments are recognised by the ICMR (Indian Council for Medical Research) as centres of excellence for research. For example, Hepatology (liver diseases) and Haematology (for thalessemia). In 2014, CMC was recognised as a Centre of Excellence for Translational Research by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT).
