Boating facilities are available in the lake and three types of boats are available - Peddle, Motor and Row Boat. #. Pedal boats: Rs. 200/- for 4 seater and Rs. 150/- for 2 seater pedal boat for 30 mins. #. Raw boats: Rs. 200/- per 5 persons and Rs. 150/- per 3 persons. #. Motor Boat: Rs. 600/- per 8 persons. #. Life jacket provided for all the passengers. #. There's an aquarium just opposite to the lake. #. Anna Park is located on the eastern shore of the lake. #. There are lots of eateries outside the lake with fresh cut mangoes, fruits, chocolate and snacks. #. There is a small walkway around the lake. #. Parking space is available around the lake. #. You can sit in front of the lake and enjoy the peace. Entry fee is 15rs per person boating is also available fees for it is separate.

Yercaud lake is the centre of attraction for the city. It was just 4 minutes drive from my Hotel GRT. When we were driving to the lake we got confused about the entry for the boat house . If you are coming from GRT you will find it on the opposite side of the ooty chocolate factory a giant entrance will be there . You have to pay INR 30 for parking the car inside, actually I parked my car near the boat house entrance. We have to buy tickets for the entry to boat house area the ticket charges are as follows Adults: INR 10 per person Kid: INR 5 per person After going inside you have to select your boating options and buy the tickets, available options are as follows: 1- Motor boat: up to 8 person can sit here and it will cost INR 600 per 10 mins 2- pedal boat: INR 200 for 30 mins 3- Row boat: INR 20/ for 30 mins We took motor boat trip and it was fun
