A really well maintained and dignified museum with classified collection and exclusive informations about Indian Navy and history of India's naval expedition. The great attraction is the remains of PNS Ghazi has been preserved here. There's also a historical museum beside it which is under AP Government.

Very beautiful museum of three floors and each floors artifacts are completely different from other floors. I visited this museum in February and it is one of the most visited museum and tourist attraction in vizag. Ticket price is 10 rupees for adults and 5 rupees for children. You have to walk a lot in this museum but chairs are available to rest. Overall must visit place in vizag.

The museum has several blocks, one for maritime history, for art and culture and for human civilization as well. The displays in all the sections are very interesting and the collection is diverse too. There's no photography allowed and in case you have luggage along with you, they let you keep it in the security room as well.
Special attractions include the ship structures that have been presented by other countries, coins collection, types of forests, grasslands and their setup, grand paintings, the longest flag 2km long (wrapped and placed) and a lot more things to see. Tickets are for just 10 Rupees
