I was visited in this place several times. This is one of the most famous and most visited please in Kolkata. This is like Agra Tajmahal, you can consider for Kolkata's Tajmahal. This is the most beautiful and peaceful place in Kolkata. Most of people are visited on this place they are couple. You can consider this place also for family trips.

Huge and Massive structure which speaks a lot about the grandeur of the Britishers and their modern architectural talent. This white building is very very interesting and takes you to a different era the moment you enter it. Not only from outside, but also inside some parts are open for visitors and you can walk around and see and you can only feel how the lifestyle of the people of those time would have been.

Extremely beautiful monument, it has an expansive garden, fountains and was moderately crowded on the weekday evening when i visited. Coming to the main attraction here, the light and sound show that happens everyday at 6:30 pm in different languages, one language for particular days of the week. The quality of display and audio is top notch and the show gave me goosebumps. It must not be missed as for me it was the major attraction in Kolkata. The entry fees are minimal and different to see either museum and gardens or just the gardens. The gate for light and sound show is different and very problematic as it's a one way road and cabs don't go there.
