My first ever visit and my second longest climb on mountains. I travelled all the way up the seven hills and got back after 16 hours. The time I took was longer as my friends delayed me by resting multiple times. It was goosebumps climb post the 4'th & 5'th hills with mother nature calming me down with cool Breeze and the spectacular view from above and below me. ☁️ Appeared so close to me, mild drizzles and chillness all over me, I needed no greater ecstasy for smiling ?. Must try climb. Carry all necessaries with you, precisely more water and food, at the same time carry less stuffs to avoid over luggage obstructing your climb uphill.

The most satisfying devotional place. This temple is the source of all the goodness and devotions. Travel on the mountain is little hard to claim. But it's not impossible. First 4 temple we should go through the deep of the forest. And remaining 3 mountain are top of the Mount. So you can enjoy all the views. Everyone should visit the temple atleast once in our life.

What a beautiful view and getting vibe of lord Shiva ?
I recently visited the Shiva temple in Velliangiri Hills and was blown away by the stunning views and spiritual atmosphere. The hike up the mountain is challenging but well worth it, as the temple itself is absolutely breathtaking. I felt a deep sense of peace and connection to Lord Shiva while at the temple, and the surrounding natural beauty only added to the experience.
Aside from the temple, there are many other sights and activities to enjoy in Velliangiri Hills, from exploring caves to taking a dip in the natural pools. The wildlife tours and trekking options are also highly recommended for those who want to get closer to nature.
Overall, I highly recommend a visit to Velliangiri Hills for anyone seeking a spiritual or nature-filled getaway. The views, atmosphere, and overall experience are truly unforgettable.

Entry to the divine velliangiri hills treking is limited for women. We, as a group of 11, started the trek on 29th April, Saturday night. There was huge crowd due to long weekend.
Few members completed the trek in 12 hrs and I took 19 hrs. There is no proper place to take rest in between. But we found many people sleep on the rocks or ground.
When the climate is not condusive, during rain or peak midday sunlight, the trek will be more tough. We see many slip and fall down due to slipping surface, especially the 7th hill. Many walk barefoot and few wear slippers or shoes.
A bamboo stick (30 Rs at the starting), a torch (100 Rs) and a litre of water will be more useful. We found many shops on the way open, even during night and sell lemon juice, fruits, water and snacks.
Plastic is banned at the entrance; but we could see so much of plastic debris throughout the hills and gives a painful or sour sight. I felt very bad for not able to clean the hill and to see people not putting their garbage in a proper collection bags.
I felt the trek was tough during trekking; but could not stop wishing for the next velliangiri trek to take the blessing of Almighty Eswar and the ultimate god, Nature.
