Vasantham Health centre is situated in a prime location.of Nagercoil city. It is one of the best hospitals in Nagercoil city. It has almost all facilities compared to other hospitals in the area. Hospital is very clean and it has its own lab. CT scan, Doppler scan facilities are not available in this hospital. CCU, ICU and special care rooms are available, including AC rooms. This hospital is bit costly compared to other hospitals

Good medical care about which nothing major to complain. The two biggest disadvantages of this hospital are; 1. there is no digital or card payment accepted here. Even if you are paying a lakh you need to have it as cash in hand to pay. They generate bill for everyday and ask you to pay in cash only. This is highly inconvenient in this day and age. Secondly, the hospital is not part of the cashless network of major insurance companies like star health etc.

It is located in a congested lane roughly 1 km from the Nagercoil bus stand. Car parking with a capacity to park around 15 cars is available, but it is not maintained properly. You need walk around the hospital from the parking area to enter into the hospital. Hospital service is good, people are friendly. It has a wheel chair accessable entrance also. Card facility is not available. Only cash is acceptable. Being a big hospital attaracting people from nearby places, this a lacuna.
