Utkanteshwar Mahadev temple is situated on the bank of River Vatrak and on Dahegam – Kapadvanj road near Fuljina Muvada in Kheda district. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and it is believed that the Shivlinga is around 2000 years old. It has been said that this temple was an Ashram of sage Jabali Rishi who pleased Lord Shiva with his rigours penance. Here Shivlinga is small ball shaped and it is also said that there were seven Shivlinga in past but now only one is remaining here at Utkanteshwar Temple. There are around 25 small Shiva shrine and stairway with 108 steps leading to Vatrak. It is also believed that water and milk offered to Shivlinga go underground and meets to Vatrak River. Lots of devotee and tourist visit here during Shravan Month and Maha Shivratri fair. Devotee can enjoy camel rides at Vatrak River near temple. Utkanteshwar Mahadev is also popular as Untadiya Mahadev in local area.

Beautiful temple of Lord Shiva, Utkantkantheshvar is at the bank of river Vatrak on Dehgam to Kapdvanj road. This temple was built in ancient time, and is renovated. Also holds religious importance for Shiv bhakts. Most families come to perform rituals and also to have good quality time.

I have been visiting this temple since 2008 and i always visit in during shravan maas so it is really good to go on monsoon season. To see the flow of vatrak river. Really nice temple with a good arrangement of darshan and place is also really good. you can buy things from the shops there it will be made by local persons. so overall it is a really peaceful and devotional feeling to be there. So do visit with your family and friends

Very nice place , very old temple of lord shankar, good village , you can get refreshments like bhajiya , tea , etc and in local market we can buy some house hold things . State transport is also available here . Good experience.
