You can enjoy nature & walk for max 1.5 kms inside this dense forest. Entry Free. Visitors need to enter your name & Govt ID card in entry book. Timings: Daily 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. Monday Holidays

This is on the cuddalore road on the southern side of the court complex. This houses the forest department.It has few birds.A cage for monkey. Only one is there.A few peafowl in another enclosure.Few parrots ,a white bustard,rat snake and other varieties like cobra and other in a separate enclosure.5 nos of large and lengthy snakes in a total dark enclosure and many deers in a large enclosure well protected. Could not see them since they are protected by two fences on near the deer and another for spectators. A dense greeneries inside with mud path for a walk to make us feel that we are inside a forest.Better to go inside in groups.

Born in Pondicherry and living here for years after our Father's retirement now.... Yet i didn't know this place for so long.... Nice Greeny Small forest. Beautifully maintained.
