This place is created for the tourist to watch the animals peacefully in a open place. There is a seating place where you can enjoy the wildness of the forest with a sip of tea.

Hollong View Point also know as the Tourist Lodge Viewpoint is a scenic viewpoint made for the general tourists who come to the Hollong Elephant Safari. Not everyone gets a chance to stay at the Hollong Tourist Lodge so for them its a very good point to catch a glimpse of the wildlife in & around the surroundings forest. The best time to visit here is in the early morning hours or around the time of dusk, in these times the probability of wildlife sightings are the most. If one is lucky, he might get to see Rhinos, Elephants, Bison, Deer, Birds & even Leopards who come near the salt water hole to quench their thirst. We had been here in the month of January, we caught a lot of sightings on the early morning Elephant Safari & since the weather was chilly, the river which flows below the viewpoint was icy cold which had a lot of variety of fishes. An ultimate experience it was!
