Tipral reservoir is the medium project built during the period when Dr. Shivaji Rao Patil Nilangekar was Irrigation Minister. In fact, the project initially was decided to be built on the same river but on another location near Somthana village. If it would have been successed that was much benefitial for Daithana village. Daithana contributed it's fertile land in acquisition and 80% benefit of water was poured to the share of Nilanga Taluka instead of Udgir Taluka. The helpless farmers of Daithana till date blame to their fate and not the ministry.
