The area has a shared wall with Poptates and the ambience is more calm than its neighbour. The food was delivered very quickly and the servers were very good natured.

Great place to hangout with friends It's just beside Pop Tate's and awesome/peacefull surrounding Staff was polite and enjoyed the happy hours for drinks Also, got complimentory desert from their side

Nice place to hangout. Just felt the quantity of some food is much less compared to other lounges. But in all service and ambience are friendly making it little comfy and cool.

Timbuctoo in Malad is a favourite hangout. It’s food menu is similar (same) as that of pop Tate’s but it’s more pricey. However, that’s justified since it’s private, more upmarket and offers a better experience. As pop tates a more sporty - loud place - timbuctoo is more relaxed, playing retro music (English) and has a more snotty crowd (me likes). On Saturday when we went there, it was buzzing with a positive vibe, friendly like. Whenever I go out, I like to chat to strangers on other tables, strike up conversations and have a ball interacting with the staff - they can be quite entertaining at timbuctoo I must specify. The neighbouring table was celebrating a family birthday and the staff entertained with ringing bells and doing a jiggy shake to happy birthday - and we joined that table for a piece of the delectable cake. Yay!!! What I like are the amazing tex-mex dishes on the menu. The chicken quesadillas, the fish fingers with tartar sauce, the tortilla chips with cheese and beans - yum de dum!!! Had the barbecue chicken sizzler - absolute favourite and scrumptiously filling. Overall:- friendly staff, prompt service, good portions and value for money. Only upsetting this (for the 3 star rating) is that they levy a service charge and yet the service staff are eager beavers for tips - rather a bit in your face that ain’t cool! Otherwise - if you wanting a relaxed time out on a weekend after a hectic work week and are in the Malad area - this one’s perfect!
