Visited yesterday to pick my daughter. I am a regular passenger from this station at2005 to 2008 to Tirur for attending Bank office. There is drastic improvement of this station with new building for station office, garden settings, new seats for passenger. The only draw back of this station is there is no convenient foot over bridge.

Well maintained, clean and calm station. Amenities are limited. Though passenger trains have stops, express trains hardly stops here. I would definitely recommend this place for railfanning.

Great clean railway station. You have get trains to the South(I meant Trivandrum) from here than Thrissur because some trains are starting from guruvayur and you are more likely to get in the train and be seated when you choose this station if you can't go to guruvayur.
