Located in a small village called Kaviyoor in Pathanamthitta dist of Kerala. The front gate of the temple resembles "Aranmula Temple".
Even though Siva is the main diety, it is known for its Hanuman Pratista. The "Vadamala" offering and " Avil Nivedyam" are the main offerings. It is believed that everyone coming to the temple should buy the "Avil Nivedyam" offering which costs Rs 35.
Other dieties in this temple include Parvati,Krishna, Ganapathi and Nagas. There is also a Siva Linga just outside of the main entrance gate believed to be carried by Lord Hanuman. A small lake known as Velichenna Chira is also present at the backside. Decent parking facilities are available. "Pandavan Para" a rock temple and cave believed to be built by Pandavas is also a few kms away from this temple.
