It's a scenic spot to stop and watch the beautiful catchment area of the Sholayar Dam. And in the far you can catch the glimpse of the dam itself. During summers you can see elephants & bisons on the small island edges coming to drink water. Do watch your back because elephants come from behind where you stand to drink water as well. Don't stay at the place beyond 10 mins for your safety. And please don't litter here. Every single plastic waste is found here from baby snuggies to beer bottles. So please keep this place clean.

One of the favourite place, and always surprises us with some beautiful views, We see elephants swimming and crossing the river and saw a tiger a few meters after this spot.

Beautiful place on the way to Athirapally waterfalls from Valparai. Great viewpoint of the water reservoir out there. Great place for taking photos. Should be careful on the edges of the cliff as there is no fencing and it may be dangerous during rainy season.
