Pearls view Regency is presently a 3 star hotel having a beer and wine outlet in the outskirts of Kannur corporation. There is amble parking lot, the reception lobby is very cozy and spacious, the front office personal are very courteous. The dining area very well arranged, the food served are very tasty. They serve both vegitarian and non- vegitarian food. The price of the food served in the hotel are comparatively moderate when compared to other hotels in Kannur.

Nice hotel with basic amenities like good rooms, swimming pool, restaurant, cafe area, etc.
Reception area and halls are maintained well. Room maintenance can be improved. Options for free breakfast for the room guests is available.
Located in a very nice location.

The hotel is past its glory days. The hotel is spacious Built and has a big lobby and has a swimming pool. Unfortunately, the hotel is not maintained and is short on staff. Fixtures in the rooms haven’t changed and same goes for the decor. The restaurant is okay but food take ages to come out of the kitchen, so be prepared for a long wait. The bar offers wine and beer.

The hotel has a three star rating but doesn't give the feeling of one being in a three star hotel. The staff are friendly, and was present during our checkout at 4AM after informing him the previous night.
Rooms are large with big windows to allow fresh air, ours overlooked the garden. We visited during monsoons and our rooms smelled of dampness and mould, we had to usually leave the windows open for 20min and run the fans at full speed to get rid of the smell. Maybe we weren't in the best of rooms as I have seen some photos of lovely views from the room windows. Bathrooms are okay, with hot water running on the first day, but not on the second day.
The restaurant in the hotel was a let down, nothing great to mention about it.
Didn't come across other big hotels in Thalassery, so I guess this one is a better option to stay at.

Pluses: big room with nice marble floors, good t.v., and comfortable bed. The air conditioning worked so well I had to keep turning it down. Nice view from my fifth floor window and centrally located. The staff was very helpful, courteous, and attentive. I was on a special diet, and the restaurant team went out of their way to cook the food the way I needed it prepared.
Minuses: The bathroom had a little bit of a mold problem, so the tile didn't look clean. Toilet was hard to flush. Wifi only available if you sit right next to the office, but wifi isn't really a "thing" in these parts. Pool didn't look very inviting, but this was after monsoon just ended.
