Had a wonderful stay here. Planned to stay for a weekend, but ended up staying whole week.
The cafeteria on rooftop is open late and is a great place to meet new people. It also has an amazing view to the valley.
Both the dorm and private rooms are very new and clean. Bathroom has hot water. The dorm beds also have curtains, which is a big plus. If you are staying in a private room, I recommend taking the superior room, which is very spacious and has a great view.

I was there for a few days last month. Given that it's a relatively new accommodation, the rooms are great, be it the dorms or personal rooms.
Meeting people is a major part of the hostel experience so try to be open about it and have fun. Don't be ardent about your sleep.
I believe a little more focus to management can be given, especially when it comes to checking in on time.
The staff also creates a great environment and takes equal part in the experience. Special mention to Joyce for showing us around Shimla and Saumya for always being at the centre of fun.

It was a lovely stay at the hosteller Shimla. The staff and the services provided was very good, rooms were awesome. Although consider having one hair dryer for each dorm and install exhaust in the bathroom of dorm 306.
Anyhow it was the loveliest stay I have ever had on any trip ?...

Pros: This hostel looks one of the best option for solo travelers for the stay in Shimla. The cleanliness, HYGIENE, maintenance is up to the mark. The terrace view is so good. Location is safe and clean. It is pretty close to mall road just take the road beside of Church (Mall road). The staff is helpful. Overall, my stay is good here and I will definitely recommend this.
Cons: It is situated at little height which is not as much of concern with less luggage. But if you have much luggage than you might have some issue. But once after reaching there, it is all worthy. There is no direct transportation to the hostel (as it is close to mall road) and you have to walk. In dorms, it is very difficult to go to the upper beds as there are no side handles on the beds. So, every time it was very difficult to go upside. This issue must be resolved. Apart from that, everything was good.
