The best hostel I have been. The hosts(Father and son duo) are amazing. We were 6 people staying at their place. We reached the hostel at around 12 in night. We had a bonfire and warm, yummy food. The hosts shared some fascinating stories. We decided that if we ever come back to Jaipur again, we are staying at the Big Mooch. They deserve a 6 star rating for all they did for us.

Still there. The place is one among the best backpacker hostel. The owner is a gem of a person. The place is very nice. They have clean and tidy rooms. The bunk beds are cozy. There is a smoking area in the back yard. You can talk hours with the owner, they have a nice experience to share.

Wonderful host and oldest place fir backpackers. They claim that the first Transcendental meditation course was taught here. Place is good for small budget travellers. Bunk beds ( with cotton mattress) are comfortable enough to get good sleep. Don't expect some colorful walls and designer stuff. Its a big residence converted into Hostel.

I stayed there in November 2017 but finally take time to write ! You can stay at this hostel because rooms are nice, everything is really clean (bedrooms, sheets, bathrooms), water is hot and with pressure, wifi works really good. You can also stay there because the neighborhood is quiet and safe, and because of the cooker who make one of the best indian food ! But for sure, you have to go to The Big Mooch because of Jay and his father, the most wonderful people in Rajasthan for sure !!!!! There are so friendly, helpful, welcoming, smiling, nice, incredible and soooooo much ... ! They are always free to help you. They have a lot of stories to tell. They can give you many and many advices, always good ! :) They share meals with you ! I can write always more about my 5 heaven days at their hostel !! Thanks a lot for all Jay and Harash. You are my best meeting in my trip ! Your are the best hostel I 've ever stayed. You are wonderful, incredible people, the kind of people you will never forget.

Hands down one of the best places I've been to. It's a home away from home. The hosts are amazing, the place comfortable and cosy and the food awesome! Definitely recommend if you're in Jaipur. Had a truly memorable experience at the Big Mooch.
